Safety and Access is the premier training and consulting organisation for the UK access industry. From our offices throughout the country, and our purpose designed training centre in Nottingham, we offer a full range of scaffolding and access training, design and consultancy. We are recognised as the "Access Industry Safety Experts", reinforced by our many accreditations - NVQ, CISRS,CITB and PASMA, our membership of the National Access & Scaffolding Confederation, and our own premises NQA approval to OHSAS18001 health and safety standard. Mike Morris JP FIOSH RSP, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Vast experience of scaffolding safety and much respected in the industry having spent over 25 years as the SGB Group Safety Advisor.
Ray Johnson BSc, Managing Director More than 25 years experience in the construction industry including 13 years managing Safety and Access and its specialist scaffolding safety and training services. Ray works closely with HSE and NASC on scaffolding safety related topics and gives regular presentations on scaffolding and working at height.
Rick Statham, Operations Director Rick is a very well known figure in the UK Scaffolding industry, serving as Deputy Chairman in the NASC National Safety Committee, and playing an instrumental part in the development of key industry guidance such as the original SG4 guidance on Work at Height and SG2 guidance on work with asbestos. He brings 20 years experience as a safety professional, 17 of which were with Palmers Ltd, a leading national scaffolding and industrial services contractor.
Rodney Meere BSc FCIOB MIOSH, Director Over 30 years experience in Construction Health and Safety including Managing Director of Hinton and Higgs, and Chairman of Willis Faber Risk Management, one of the worlds largest risk management companies.
Paul Teasdale FCA, Finance Director A chartered accountant with many years experience working in the safety consultancy industry including Hinton and Higgs, and many years in private practice
Elaine Cawley, Training Director More than 15 years experience of controlling the company's training services including the "Construction Industry Scaffolder's Record Card" (CISRS). An acknowledged expert in scaffolding-related training.
